ES ARCHITECTURAL TEAM LTD. is looking to hire a motivated and ambitious young professional for the position of:
INTERN – DESIGN ENGINEER
The position is part of the “Youth Employment+” project.
Internship duration: 9 months (with mandatory subsequent permanent employment)
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
Main functions and responsibilities during the internship:
Under the guidance of an experienced mentor (Design Engineer with Full Design Qualification), you will have the opportunity to gain practical skills and apply your theoretical knowledge in a real working environment.
Design Support: Participation in the development of textual and graphical materials for the different stages of investment design, including conceptual, technical and working projects.
Drafting and Modelling: Preparation of diagrams, drawings and technical details using specialized software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks or other software used by the company.
Specifications and Calculations: Participation in the preparation of bills of quantities, specifications of materials and equipment, as well as performing basic engineering calculations.
Documentation: Reviewing applicable regulations, technical standards and requirements relevant to the engineering field.
Archiving: Organizing, classifying and archiving project documentation in both paper and electronic formats.
Teamwork: Participation in meetings and site visits together with the mentor, with the aim of gaining practical insight into real construction/production processes.

Candidate requirements:
To be eligible for the programme, candidates must meet the following criteria.
Age: You must be up to 29 years old (inclusive).
Employment status: You must be registered as unemployed with the Labour Office.
Education: Higher education in engineering, either completed or having completed all academic requirements, in a relevant field.
Computer skills: Basic to advanced skills in specialized design software (CAD/BIM systems) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
Language skills (an advantage): Knowledge of English or another foreign language for working with technical literature.
Personal qualities: Willingness to learn, attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to work in a team and good communication skills.

A diploma confirming completed engineering education or a certificate from the university if you are still completing your studies.
