In 2018 another building – an Architectural Monument of Culture of Local importance opened its doors with a new purpose. The well-known "Turkish warehouse" built at the end of the 18 and the beginning of the 19 c. was transformed into an Epigraphic center and Lapidarium thanks to a European project. For storing and exhibiting of archeological findings from different epochs, the building has been restore and adapted. 38 movable archeological and epigraphic valuables that date from Antiquity until 19 century were exhibited – architectural elements, gravestones and other cultural treasures, found on the territory of Vidin region. The Epigraphic center is near "Baba Vida" Fortress and creates with it an interesting historical complex, which enriches the tourist attraction of Vidin.
